Family Dynamics

What are family dynamics?

Family dynamics are the patterns of relating or interactions between family members. Each member brings their unique individualism, and although there are some common patterns within each member, the way they display could be healthy or unhealthy in the relationship.

Family Group Sessions

Here we will explore each member’s needs by taking the time to listen to each person, letting them know they have a voice and the importance of being heard. Honesty and openness will be the key to seeing change within the family. I will address the understanding of family structures and dynamics, such as the traditional family with the parents and siblings, the blended family with kids from previous relationships, and the extended family as we refer to grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

What do we expect to accomplish with these sessions?

We expect families to learn how to value, appreciate, and accept each other differences no matter their individual feelings.
